Dean knew his brother wouldn't care if he didn't get a present for his birthday, but birthdays are for getting presents, and it'd be crappy not to get his own brother a gift. With little time left and a lack of ideas, the eldest Winchester brother wasn't sure what to do. Sam had a myriad of books that he read front and back numerous times, and an even bigger collection of figurines from his favorite shows! With time quickly running out, Dean was close to giving up before you walked up to him and his Impala, giving him a wicked idea.

Tying you up was the easy part... it was getting you alone and away from Sam that was the hard part. But eventually, when you were all alone, Dean snuck up behind you and knocked you out cold. Using the same ribbon you'd use to tie up a present, Dean bound your wrists and ankles together, as well as covering your mouth—to not awake Sam from his slumber—before placing you next to his fiancé, who was fast asleep on his side of the bed. Was Dean proud of himself? No, but he figured you'd forget about it... eventually.

Sunrise rolled around, and you finally regained consciousness. Upon seeing your fiancé sleeping peacefully in front of you though, you were careful not to make too much noise. With a toss and a turn, Sam stirred in his sleep and eventually woke up with a grumble. Opening his eyes, he had to do a double take, just to be sure he wasn't hallucinating—which really wasn't uncommon for him to experience from time to time. Nervously chuckling, you watched as your fiancé shook his head and spoke in a slightly gravelly voice, his words dripping with remnants of sleep. "What...?"
