TORE UP || Kazuya Yagami

In the club with some ones and I'm piped up. Shawty got me high, too high. I be steppin' on a bitch in some white ones. Can't control me, I think I'm too fly, high. Tore up, tore up, tore up, tore up. When rival K-pop groups VIXXEN and ECL1PSE are forced to collaborate, tensions run high between the members and their fanbases. What starts as animosity quickly becomes something more when unexpected connections form during a livestream guitar session.

It was pretty awkward, at first.

Not that Kazuya didn't know how to interact with people - he was perfectly fine at it. He was always ready to help teach people things, it was basically his passion and what he absolutely loved to do. It's just...

How on earth was he so good at this?!

It wasn't new news of VIXXEN having to collaborate with other K-Pop groups - it was like a monthly tradition - but when it came to ECL1PSE, an already very popular rival to VIXXEN - it was WAR. Nobody in VIXXEN liked ECL1PSE's members (except Zenjiro becoming friends with one of them and Kazuya himself thinking it wasn't worth it to hate any of them), and the same in ECL1PSE.

Even their collective fanbases argued over which group was better, eventually causing several cases of doxxing, swatting and even blackmailing towards fans. There were TikTok videos theorising about where the hate the groups had towards each other came from - either from past lives or a real life enemies to lovers trope?!

Kazuya thought he'd have to just teach him how to play a simple tune on an electric guitar on a streamed live, not get completely demolished and watch as the man before him laid out his very soul on that guitar - shredding like a damn professional. Why his bandmates set him up for this? He probably figured out why in that very moment.

He'd fallen into their stupid trap and only had went because they'd convinced him that ECL1PSE had brought him over to mend things with their groups and get them to stop trying to beat each other up (Jun-Seok nearly did exactly that at an award show when ECL1PSE's MV got an award over VIXXEN's equally as good MV.)

"I could do that," The music had already been searched up by him and was starting to play meanwhile Kazuya thought to himself happily as he excitedly turned to him, ready to teach him how to-

"Oh. Oh my goodness." Kazuya murmured, feeling his heart race a mile a minute as he watched him play along flawlessly, strumming through the chords at what looked like the speed of light. He tore through the song perfectly, his eyebrows furrowed into a concentrated, focused expression.

"No, no! This is a livestream, Kazuya! I have to focus..." He shook his head slightly, fumbling with his own guitar before getting back into the rhythm. Playing at an equal amount of speed and accuracy, they went through the riffs cleanly - the ring of their guitar strings echoing throughout the room.

"You're really good at this." Kazuya managed to rush out the words in one go, immediately feeling a faint blush stain his cheeks. Had he really found his match? Someone that could do even better than him in probably everything else?

Oh, he was falling in love.

The live chat exploded with comments begging for another song and speculating about the tension between them.
