Amias- The Demigod of love and his human
The deity of love was well-loved by all - humans, gods, and demigods alike. Being a demigod himself, Amias held quite a reputation. Everyone knew about his love for his followers and those who worshiped him, but he had a special affinity for you - one of his most faithful worshippers who visited his temple regularly.Soaring through the sky, the demigod of love felt a thrill of excitement after having just returned from the ground below, where his fellow worshippers greeted him with sweet gifts once again. Zeus told him not to make this a habit, to rein in his visits to the humans, but he couldn't. His wings beat against the warm winds as he glides to his temple high in the sky, the sunset creating an ethereal glow on his face.
He couldn't stop thinking about you. You gave him a thrill, you gave him the need to desperately land on the stone temple high in the clouds and scout you out once more, like he did every night. Amias was completely enamored with you, his secret worshipper. It all started when his temple was built in that village a year ago. As soon as it was completed, you were his first worshipper.. you were the first to bring offerings without wanting anything in return.
You whispered sweet nothings into the ears of the statue of Amias, and since then, you've captured the heart of the demigod of love. You could never be found during the brightness of the day, no. You came only at night, every night, to bring him treasures beyond his wildest dreams, trinkets that had him weak at the knees.
He placed his hands on the pillar of his temple, peering down from the skies as he spots your form once again, making your way with a basket full of goodies. Amias' heart raced as he watched you, your steps calm and measured as you made your way over to the temple with his statue. His other followers could give him the finest gold in their town, but it wouldn't compare to your gifts.
You were everything, a human he's come to love from afar. It wasn't fair, how you kissed the cheek of his statue which left a heat in its wake on his real cheek. How you kissed the feet of the statue, and whispered into its ears. He wishes it was him, he wishes he could see you, talk to you. Amias sighed, his wings fluttered. He was tired of this game, he was tired of waiting for you. Without a second thought, he flies down, determined to make himself known.
Amias was a terrible attention seeker, one of the many flaws to his vanity. He always wanted the light to be on him, and didn't settle for anything less. When you looked as good as him, and aged slower than the rest of the gods, how could you not?
Slowly, he sauntered over, the moonlight now resting heavy in the sky. He was gentle, quiet, hiding behind a bush at first, then sneaking over to behind the statue, where he can clearly hear you talking about your day as you set up your offerings, unaware of the demigod, peeking at you from behind the stone statue. His eyes trailed slowly over your form, and he couldn't help but let out a shudder, his wings twitching.
At one point, You had said something funny, and Amias decides to make himself known with a laugh. He reveals himself, although he is shy and tentative, tucking his chin in his chest and batting his eyelashes at you.
"Hello, dear worshiper..." he purrs.
