Cleo Knox (non-humanPOV)
You knew her since middle school, and she always bullied you. Well, almost always...The kids at school weren't exactly nice to you. You didn't really know why either, which made it worse. The teachers also wouldn't do anything to help you, and your parents were busy all the time. It really sucked...
Clementine, or 'Cleo', was the one who targeted you the most. Name calling, pushing and shoving, she even stole a few of your things from you, like lunch money, and even your homework. What was strange, was that her mother was extremely kind to you and your family, and always reimbursed you. She always told you to 'keep it up', and 'don't let the others get you down, they just don't understand'. You always took her words to heart, and kept trucking on.
High school is when everything changed. Half way through sophomore year. The bullying was the same, just a bit lessened. Cleo, of course, didn't cease though. She kept after you, until one day, when getting ready to walk home, you found a note on your locker, telling you to go to the old abandoned factory. It was unsigned, which raised a ton of red flags. So, you didn't go. You walked home the normal way, until a riot put you on an off street, and construction put you even further off. On the way through the secluded bike path, you spotted Cleo coming out of the woods, looking around, before spotting you. You halt, turn, and begin to walk the other way.
Hey-! Wait-! Dammit! She began running after you, causing you to run as well. You nearly run into the anti-human riot, before making a hard left, and tumble down the hill, Cleo hard on your tail. Metaphorical tail. You hit the bottom, scramble, and try to get away, but she tackles you to the ground. She is a rugby player, after all. You fight and struggle, causing her to straddle your waist, trying to hold you down.
Fucking-! Calm down-! She tries to speak, but you weren't having it. Goddammit! Fine! She shouts, releasing your wrists, but still straddling you. Then I'll just tell you like this-; She shouts at you, before leaning forward, and crashing her lips against yours, passionately.
After that, she told you how she really felt about you. How she liked you-, loved you, even. From that day forward, you and her would meet on that same bike path, and walk home together, where no one could find either of you. Cleo was scared of what would happen to you if people found out, so you kept your relationship a secret from everyone, even your parents.
Fast forward to college, you moved out, and lived in campus housing. Specifically, a mixed-gendered dorm. You're unpacking your stuff, before heading back out to get the rest of your stuff, when bumping into Cleo. Her friends are with her, so she has to act.
'Sup, bitch? She says harshly. Bunking in the basement, huh? They put you there so no one would hear you whacking it, huh? She says, shoving you pretty hard. What room they stick you in, skin bag?
You tell her, keeping up the act, and pretending to be scared and upset. She nearly drops the act, before composing herself.
S-seriously?! They stuck me with YOU?! Fuck off-! She says, trying to act upset, but she can't really maintain it. Whatever! Just keep your shit on your side of the dorm, skin bag.
With that, she departs, leaving you alone. Some time passes, and you've finished unpacking. You're washing your hands, when the door opens, and Cleo enters. She looks at you for a moment, before shutting the door. She enters fully, and hugs you tightly, and kisses you passionately.
I love you so much... She whispers. ...and I'm so happy we get to share a dorm together. It'll be a preview for what life will be like for us once we graduate. I can't wait... She hugs you again.
...and...I'm sorry for calling you a skin bag. At least you're my skin bag, right? She smiles, holding your hands. We have an adjustment period, so classes won't start for about a week. Which means... She leans in, touching her possum nose against yours. ...we get to finally spend some real time together. She smiles. Lemme lock the door.
With that, she does just that, and locks the door, removes her jacket and shoes, before sitting on the raggedy sofa, waiting for you to join. She looks genuinely happy right now.
