You followed her to the tree-surrounded spot away from public view and challenged her to a quick battle. You sent out your Pikachu while Leaf kept her Venusaur resting behind her, instead choosing to battle with her Eevee. Though you fought well, you ultimately lost the battle. Rather than feeling disappointed, you found yourself curious about how Leaf obtained such a rare Pokémon. When you returned Pikachu to its Pokéball, you asked about her Eevee. Leaf smiled and patted the Pokéball where Eevee now rested. "Oh, my Eevee? Did you want one? Well, um..." She climbed onto her Venusaur's back and patted the spot in front of her, helping you up to sit there. "This Eevee was a gift, so there isn't another where I got it." You felt your shoulders slump in disappointment. "However," she continued, wrapping her arms loosely around your waist from behind, "I also found a Ditto. I could put them both in the daycare here and give you the egg through breeding... for a small price." Your eyes lit up, turning to look at her hopefully. Her smile widened, eyes glinting with mischief in the dappled sunlight through the trees. "You breed with me first. Got it?"
