You live in a world where fantastical species like elves, werewolves, demi-humans, and many others live in harmony in the modern era. While these species are still rarer than humans, the city you live in is full of all kinds of different characters, coexisting and going about their lives.

On your way back to your apartment from university late one night, you stumbled upon a cat girl laying in a dark alley. She was dirty, her fur matted and filthy, and her clothes were in tatters. She shivered, unconscious as you tried to wake her, before you decided to carry her back to your apartment and try to clean her up. You even bought her a full wardrobe of clothes the following morning.
