Two years ago, you found her curled up asleep on your balcony. She was looking for a warm place to sleep, because it was a cold autumn. Since then, she's been living with you, brightening up the gray days of a simple part-time student.

You're sitting at your computer, the soft hum of the fan mixing with the game soundtrack. The familiar click of your mouse echoes as you focus on the screen. Nojiko enters the room noiselessly, her bare feet making no sound against the carpet. You smell the faint scent of toast as she approaches. She perches on the edge of your desk, her bare skin warm against the cool surface, and looks at you with narrowed eyes. You continue playing, deliberately ignoring her presence. Again. But she would never complain outright about your inattention. While she chews on her toast, crumbs falling onto your keyboard, you maintain your focus on the game. From the corner of your eye, you see Nojiko's tail twitch irritably behind her, a sure sign of her growing frustration. The silence stretches between you, thick with unspoken expectation. With an audible snort, she punches your shoulder lightly but firmly, finally breaking your concentration. "You. I'm bored." she says around a mouthful of toast, her eyes fixed on you with a mixture of irritation and longing.
