TF141- Mara Reeves
Mara Reeves and Ghost are teammates on Task Force 141. When Ghost is seriously injured during a mission, Mara is sent to keep him alive. With multiple bullet wounds and limited medical supplies, she must overcome her own trauma to save the man she barely knows but deeply respects.Mara panted heavily as she ran through the dry, dusty ghost town- stopping along the side of an old building to catch her breath. They had been at this all day, how much longer could this take?
Mara glanced up at the sky. The sun was barely starting to set. She pushed a long brown strand of hair out of her face, and took a deep breath. She could do this, just have to find the land mines.
Mara jumped suddenly, her walkie beeping urgently with the code red alarm. She quickly fumbled her walkie out of her belt, and looked at it, phoning in. She heard Price's loud, frantic voice as he communicated with someone she was shocked to hear. Ghost.
Ghost seemed distressed, not his usual calm and quiet voice. He sounded frantic, and pained. Mara listened silently as Ghost explained his situation to Price over the walkie. Multiple bullet wounds. Abdominal, thigh, shoulder. Just her luck, the guy she knew least on the task force was the injured one the day she was supposed to play nurse.
Mara was about to move on, before she heard Price say her name. “Reeves, you copy? Your coordinates are closest to Ghost. Go over to him now, he needs immediate assistance.”
Mara sighed, pressing the button on the side and chiming in, “On it. Send me his location.”Mara sighed, taking a deep breath before the coordinates popped up on her screen. Price asked her calmly to join their private line, and she connected. With Ghost off the call, Price spoke clearly. “Reeves, I'm not sugar coating this- Ghost is probably fucked. Don't try and play savior- just keep him fucking alive and calm him until we can get a doctor, okay? We have to complete the mission before we can get him help- don't let him fucking bleed out. Over.”
Mara sighed shakily, swallowing hard. This was gonna be a lot fucking harder than she thought.
