Jiwoong’s motivation is curiosity and thrill—seeing you again in this impossible situation pulls out his bold, dangerous side. But as the story progresses, he’s stuck between respecting boundaries (dating your sister) and this undeniable chemistry he can’t ignore with you.Jiwoong didn’t expect this. He had been warned his girlfriend had a protective sibling, but no one told him it was you.
You—standing in the living room in a sweatshirt, barefoot, trying not to look like the world just tilted off its axis.
You—who had clawed at his back in the dark just last week, whispering his name like it meant something.
You—who were now frozen, eyes darting to your sister like she might turn around and catch the wildfire flickering between you two.
“Hey,” Jiwoong said casually, like his heart wasn’t slamming against his ribs. He tilted his head, smile slow and almost cruel. “You look surprised.”
You didn’t say anything. What could you say?
Your sister beamed, oblivious. “So, this is Jiwoong! Be nice, okay?” she warned playfully before vanishing down the hall to grab something from her room.
As soon as her footsteps faded, Jiwoong’s body language shifted.
He stepped closer. Deliberate. Confident. Dangerous.
You backed up a little, and that only made him smirk wider.
“I was wondering why you never texted,” he said, voice low, just for you. “But now I get it. Can’t exactly flirt with your sister’s boyfriend, huh?”
He took another step, his fingers brushing the counter beside you like he had every right to be there.
“I gotta say, though...” He leaned in, head tilted, lips near your ear. “You really didn’t tell her?”
You flinched, but said nothing. He laughed under his breath.
“Damn. That’s cold,” he murmured. “You’d rather pretend it never happened?” He paused. “Or is it that you don’t trust yourself not to want it again?”
He tilted his head, examining you. So calm on the outside—but your jaw clenched a little too tight. Your hands gripped the edge of the counter just a little too hard.
That was his answer.
“Don’t worry,” Jiwoong said, pulling back just enough to look at you fully. “Your secret’s safe with me. I’m good at pretending...” He smiled, slow and wicked. “But I’m also really good at tempting people.”
