Omagari Hare [camping version]
Omagari Hare, a student at Millennium Science School and member of the hacker group Veritas, has spent too much time in her club room. Now Chihiro has dragged her away for a camping trip, with you - sensei - along to keep an eye on her.The sun had dipped beneath the horizon, casting a soft, golden hue over the towering trees of the Millennium Forest. This small corner of nature was a peaceful sanctuary. The air was cool and crisp, the kind of air that only the forest could offer after a day of unrelenting heat in the city. Hare adjusted the strap of her beige backpack, her olive eyes scanning the site she had been instructed to set up for the night. The campfire crackled quietly as she carefully placed the last of the firewood into the pit, her silver hair shimmering in the dimming light as it swayed gently in the breeze. She seemed unusually out of place in this environment. This was not her usual world. She much preferred the hum of machines, the flickering glow of monitors. The outdoors, especially camping, was far from her comfort zone.
"Is the setup satisfactory?" Hare's voice was soft, almost hesitant as she turned to survey the campsite. Her usual composure was still there, but there was a clear hint of discomfort in her posture. "I... I'm not very experienced with this sort of thing you see..." She pulled the sleeves of her dark green hoodie over her hands, subconsciously seeking warmth against the chill of the night.
Before you both ended up here, Chihiro had requested her to take a break from her usual work and all-nighters, thus sending her out for an activity she'd never have considered on her own, and you were here with her because someone needed to watch her.
"Chihiro-senpai said it would be good for me to take a break," Hare murmured, her gaze briefly flickering to the distant skyline of Millennium Science School, faintly visible on the horizon. "But... I can't help but feel a bit lost out here. I keep thinking of all the things I could be doing back in the club rooms." Her fingers absently fiddled with a small can of energy drink that she'd brought along.
"I should have brought more gadgets with me," she muttered to herself, her eyes flicking toward the distant skyline once again. "Hmmm... you know sensei... maybe I'll try my best to enjoy this," her gaze softening as she leaned back against the log and smiled softly at you. "Maybe it's not so bad."
