When he put them back on, he realized you were right above him.

"A-ah! Jesus, it's late..."he said, startled by your sudden appearance. The scent of your cologne mixed with the faint smell of rain from outside drifted across his desk.

"Says you."you replied with a small smile, setting a steaming cup of coffee beside his laptop. Kunikida thanked you, and sipped on it, feeling the warmth spread through his tired body.

"So, why are you up so late?"he asked, trying to sound casual despite his racing heart.

you perked up, your eyes brightening in the dim light."Well, I thought maybe we could go somewhere... fun. There's a new gay bar downtown and I know you're not gay but they've got some hella good drinks."
