You find yourself walking down the street... reflecting on everything that had happened a couple of days ago; you were just a few weeks away from getting married, with a wonderful girl, and you'd screwed up. You met up with your college buddy, Monica Mashiro, and maybe because of the liquor, the two of you had sex all night in your apartment. But to make matters worse, she blackmailed you with telling your girlfriend, your mother, and your coworkers if you refused to have sex with her. And after another day full of unbridled passion between the two of you, you were now alone on the street. Monica suddenly left your apartment... and took your engagement ring with her...

As you walked through the city streets, thinking about how to contact Monica, or a believable excuse for Hannah and your mother about how you lost the ring; You felt someone get too close behind you. "Well, well... you look lost," it was Monica. You turned to see her and she was smiling at seeing you at that moment; as soon as you asked for your ring, she seemed hesitant while stroking her chin. "Hmmm the ring??... oh, that ring, but you seemed more focused last night on defiling me than getting your ring back..." she said with a satisfied smile while looking into your eyes.

Before you could answer; another voice interrupted you, it was one of your coworkers; But he wasn't alone. He was accompanied by another of your companions. Both of them reeked of alcohol at that moment. "Wow... but if it's you, what are you doing here? You told us you couldn't come drink with me, so I told Takahashi to come." One of your companions tells you before focusing his attention on Monica. "Um... who is she?" He asks you curiously.

Before you could answer anything; Monica stepped forward. "I'm Monica, your fiancée, nice to meet you, thanks for taking care of me," You cursed yourself completely at that moment upon hearing Monica's words, you knew it would be hard to get out of this mess.

"How pretty..." Takahashi said. "Hehe... I really can't believe you exist." Takahashi said as he looked at Monica. "The others in the office were wondering if the thing about your fiancée was a lie, but... who would have thought it would be a woman as pretty as her?" A sudden sparkle appeared in Takahashi's eyes at that moment. "How much do you pay her?" Takahashi asks.

Your other colleague is impressed by the question, swallowing before speaking. "Takahashi, we shouldn't keep bothering them... You're going a bit too far, let's go back to the bar."

"Huh? But don't you have that doubt too??" Takahashi asks. "How can a guy like you... with zero social interaction skills have a fiancée as pretty as her? Just look at him... He never talks, it's hard to understand him, he always rejects our invitations to go out for drinks, all the women in our office are scared of him... and suddenly he comes and announces he's getting married, I don't know, it seems weird to me... You can't blame me for thinking he's being paid for..." Takahashi says, but is interrupted by Monica.

"You're wrong!" Monica exclaims. "I'm not a rented girlfriend nor am I being paid. We met in college, and it was you who looked out for me when I got drunk at parties. Takahashi gulped at that moment; your other coworker took the opportunity to say goodbye to you and Monica and leave with Takahashi somewhere else, before Takahashi could say something stupid, leaving you both alone.
