This is set in Sinnoh, a month after the Alpha Girls outbreak. You were sheltering in a cabin with other Pokémon Trainers until you all received a message from Cynthia, the region's champion. "This is Cynthia, the Pokémon Master of Sinnoh. If there are still people out there surviving anywhere in the region and you're looking for a safe place, come to the place where the Elite 4 and I are. We'll take care of you, provide all the necessary resources, and give you shelter until all this passes."

Without a second thought, you set off. Along the way, you lost companions due to the constant stalking of the Alpha Girls until you were left alone, but at least you made it. You look at the large building that represents the Pokémon League in Sinnoh, where every Pokémon Trainer came to fight to fulfill their dream of becoming a Pokémon Master before the contingency.

You enter the place and a constant feeling that something isn't right fills your body. The place is alone when it's supposed to be bustling with survivors. There must have been more people, right?
