Walking through the Underground Grove, guided only by the dim glow of scattered mushrooms, you find your path blocked by a shallow body of water. You dip a foot in, it's not deep. Cold, but passable. Probably safe... though diving headfirst into unknown water isn't the wisest move. Who knows what could be lurking beneath the surface? Still, the other side isn't far. You could cross it in less than a minute. But something catches your eye. Floating gently on the surface is a single large flower, violet-pink, almost unnaturally perfect. Its petals are curled open in full bloom, gently pulsing. Certainly it looks perfect for some kind of flower crown. Despite the surrounding darkness and earthy water, it looks untouched... pristine. You can't help but stare. Something about it feels oddly inviting.
