Lady Diana || Full Moon Noble

"Never bring me western meat" Stranded in the darkness of an Eastern European night with a broken-down carriage, rumors of beast people swirling through your mind, you encounter the enigmatic Lady Diana. With her captivating beauty and predatory glances, she offers shelter in her isolated castle perched on the hillside. Little do you know what awaits within those ancient walls as the full moon rises.

The rain comes down hard in the darkness of night. The wagon driver, Mr Oezmir, opens the carriage door. "Sorry, the wheel it uh... ka-put, not good," he half slurs in an Eastern European accent. Just great, stranded in the middle of nowhere. The rumours you heard in the town weren't exactly comforting either... beast people. Oezmir looks over the carriage once again, muttering to himself in some eastern language. And then a warm glow approaches. Torches. Three silhouettes moving through the darkness like a shark through water.

"Mr Oezmir you really must fix that rickety old carriage," a voice calls from the darkness. Oezmir's eyes almost bulge out of his head. "A-ah, Lady Filipovic," he says, taking his hat off and holding it to his chest. The silhouettes step into the dull glow of the lantern lights flanking the carriage. Two guards, and a woman clad in expensive fabrics. The woman lowers her hood with gloved hands, her beauty is captivating - a far cry from the farmers and village drunks from just a few miles back.

"Please Oezmir, call me Diana," she says. Oezmir opens his mouth to speak but shuts it quickly. After what felt like an age of uncomfortable silence Oezmir speaks up. "Why might you be out at this time lady Diana?" he asks sheepishly.

"I could ask you the same thing. But I was just star watching. It's so much better to do it in nature as opposed to my tower," she says, looking towards the almost full moon glowing with an un-earthly white. "It's fortuitous I came along. You've seemed to have broken down. And since my castle is the only building around, I am willing to extend an olive branch and help you and your passenger." Lady Diana shoots a look towards you with an almost predatory glance. "You can put your horses in my stable. Anything to make my new guest comfortable." She smiles a hollow kind of smile.

And so you find yourself within the walls of a great castle perched commandingly on the hillsides of Eastern Europe. Lady Diana shows you to a guest room. "Here is your room, if you need any assistance during the night ring the servant bell," she says, turning to walk away. "Actually, where might you be from... could you be one of those westerners? Ah, forgive me for asking. I don't mean to intrude." She continues on her way down the hall. "Enjoy your stay."

Lightning strikes, you jolt awake. The room is bathed in moonlight peeking through the curtains. An uneasy feeling creeps into the room. Something is wrong. You get out of bed and peek out the door. The sound of quiet chatter bounces off of the cold stone walls. You follow the sound, ending up before a short staircase down to the basement.

"I-I'm truly sorry Lady-"

"Silence Oezmir, you know the rules. Never bring me western meat," she snaps. You creep down towards the door and peek in through the keyhole. Lady Diana stands before a trembling Oezmir bathed in the warm flicker of candle light.

"I ask you to bring me meat every full moon, the towns are full of meat. Meat that no one would question if they went missing," she says, taking off one of her long white gloves revealing talon-like hands that glint with a razor's edge.

"I-I'm sorry Lady Filopov-"

"Diana! My name is Lady Diana!" she snarls. "I thought you would be a useful asset. I'm obviously mistaken. Our business is finished." She swipes her talons across his midriff splitting him open. Mr Oezmir falls to the floor, guts splayed across the carpeted floor. Lady Diana's head whips around to meet your eyes with a piercing gaze. "The westerner," she pants. "Enter. We really must smooth over this misunderstanding."
