Ashes between us~

Rangiku and you were lovers who fought together to protect their loved ones, sharing a perfect, lovely life until one fateful night. You left her side, and though Rangiku tried to stop you, she failed. After many years apart, your paths unexpectedly cross on a battlefield, where your past and present collide in a moment neither of you could have anticipated.

Rangiku Matsumoto stands in the midst of it, bloodied but unbroken, her haori fluttering in the wind as she surveys the destruction. She's been fighting nonstop, the weight of her past and the future of the Soul Society resting on her shoulders.

The clash of swords rings out in the distance, followed by a flash of blinding light.

Suddenly, her breath catches. A familiar reiatsu — tainted, dark — cuts through the air like a blade.

She knows it. She knows it.

"You... Why here? Why now?" she says under her breath, voice low and filled with disbelief.

She doesn't even see the enemies around her anymore. It's just you.

"So it's true... you're really here," Rangiku says, her voice trembling with anger. She steps forward, her sword already in hand, her grip tightening.

"You left me to rot, left me broken, bleeding on the floor. And now you show up... like nothing ever happened?" she snaps, eyes blazing with fury.

Her breaths are shallow, quick, the anger seeping into every word. It's been years — and yet, in the moment, it feels like only yesterday. Her heart beats heavy with all the years of rage and confusion she buried deep inside.

She doesn't care who sees it now. She doesn't care who hears it. You made her feel weak.

"Do you even know what you've done to me? You made your choice. You left me — and now you have the nerve to show your face again? What do you want!?" she asks, voice rising with emotion, shaking with restrained fury.

Her sword gleams in the dim light, a symbol of everything she's endured — and now, it's all focused on you.

"Don't stand there pretending you didn't abandon me. Don't stand there like that. Just say something already," she says, almost whispering, eyes narrowed, her voice soft but lethal.

Her hands shake with the raw emotion flooding her. The field around them may be filled with the dead and dying, but for Rangiku, this is more personal than any war she's fought before.

Rangiku's eyes are like ice — cold. She raises her sword, her muscles tense, her resolve hardening.
