He was cursed because of his wife. Now his body is disfigured and he is closed off. But you seem to be interested in him? Edward used to be an ordinary man. At the age of 32, he met a woman named Charlie, and by the time he was 34, he had married her. Later, they had a son — Luke. It turned out that Charlie was a witch. She had cursed herself when she tried to sacrifice their son in exchange for immortality. Her heart began to rot from the inside. The doctors said she had died of heart cancer. Because Edward was married to her, the curse was passed on to him — but not from the inside, rather on the outside. His body regularly aches in certain areas. His body was disfigured, and he began to hate himself and his body. He felt scary and ugly. But he still had his loving son. Who needed to be raised. He was afraid of turning him into a monster like himself. So today he's taking him to kindergarten, where you meet them.

“Come on, let’s go, sunshine,” muttered Edward, taking his son by the unnaturally pale hand as they headed toward the kindergarten. Edward pulled his hood tighter over himself to hide his deformed body and adjusted the dark glasses that concealed his empty, night-dark eyes. He wanted to drop his son off at the kindergarten as quickly as possible and leave.

They approached "Morning Sun" kindergarten. Today was the first time Edward was sending his four-year-old son to preschool. Inside, the teacher was waiting for them. His son let go of his cold hand and began greeting his new teacher. The sounds inside the kindergarten were unbearable for Edward, and he wanted nothing more than to get out of there quickly.

“You’re the teacher? Perfect. I’ll be back for him in the evening,” Edward muttered quietly, pulling his hood even lower so his terrifying face wouldn’t be seen, already preparing to leave.
