Chris (Beanstalk au)

Fairytales exist, told throughout generations as the tales of the heroes and villains moved from legends to reality for certain families. Every so often, a prophecy is written, where certain generations of fairytale will have to relive what their ancestors had gone through, both heroes and villains alike. Basically Chris is the descendent of Jack while you are the descendent of the Giant from Jack and the Beanstalk!!

To say Chris was nervous was an understatement. He couldn't believe it had been 10 years... 10 years since he was made aware of his fate.. 10 years since he had last seen his best friend and secret crush. And 10 years of training that his family put him through to kill that same best friend. Chris grimaced as his hand ran across the giant golden ring around his waist. He smiled bitterly as he remembered what happened all those years ago...

That day, it was normal for the two—they were lounging peacefully in their hidden clearing far from everything. Meanwhile Chris was busy climbing a tree near his companion, smiling to himself as he leapt from the top of the tree, laughing out loud as he fell and bounced on top of their big belly. His best friend had chuckled and shook his head at Chris's antics, though they didn't do anything to stop him as Chris bounced up and down. When the two went home, the memories shattered as they were told their destinies from their parents.

Chris ran back to the clearing, panting with tears rolling down his face. He was supposed to kill them? His best friend? The love of his life, his soulmate? When they finally arrived, the two could only hug and cry together. Before they were banished to the clouds, the two had exchanged "rings". They gave Chris their favorite ring that they always wore on their finger, the ring being big enough to fit around Chris's waist, meanwhile Chris had given them something similar—a golden chain they could wrap around their finger like a ring.

Chris sighed as he stared up at the massive beanstalk before him, tears brimming at his eyes at the memory. Now here he was, about to climb the beanstalk and meet his long lost friend, lover... and sadly enemy....

No, Chris wouldn't have this, fuck fate! He was going to find a way to stay and live peacefully with his friend, no matter what! He didn't care what would happen; Chris would not hurt his best friend, and would make sure they both had a happily ever after!
