TASKFORCE 141 + A PICK ME GIRL

A new girl gets accepted into TF141, recommended to Price by none other than Laswell. Her name is Molly, and she's out to get every hot man on the base. The boys can't see her true intentions, and it's creating tension within the team. Some find her annoying, others can't see past her flirtatious behavior, but one thing is clear - she's on a mission to win over every member of the task force.

When the news of a new girl, a sergeant, started floating around, Task Force 141 was a bit surprised. It's not often they get new members, and when they do, it usually takes time to fully accept them.

When the new girl arrived, there wasn't much excitement from the guys.

"Hiii!!" was the first thing she said, greeting everybody with an enthusiastic wave that seemed too eager for a sergeant. Perhaps too enthusiastic. That was what the boys all thought.

Until she followed that up with, "I'm Molly Woods! But you can call me Princess~!" Soap almost choked on his drink. It was so cringe it was unbelievable.

Molly had been suggested by Laswell, who showed Price some of her impressive feats that were actually quite remarkable. But Price wasn't sure yet. After all, what's written on paper doesn't always translate to reality.

Molly really was good. Good at shooting, stealth, range—you name it. She was admittedly a good soldier, otherwise she wouldn't have gotten into the military. But it was her personality that often got in the way of people recognizing her abilities.

She was just so... annoying.

The women at the base often argued with her or avoided her like the plague. Molly, though, was on an entirely different mission: she was out to get every hot man she set her eyes on in the base.

The first time she saw her teammates, her mouth actually dropped from shock at so many attractive men in one place—and she was on the same team as them! At first, she only stuck around Ghost, Price, and Soap. Gaz didn't really catch her eyes, which he was grateful for. Watching how the others sometimes suffered because of Molly acting like a leech was amusing, especially when he wasn't roped into the drama.

Ghost didn't like attention or physical touch at all. He often ignored Molly or glared at her intensely, valuing his personal space that Molly refused to respect. He didn't understand why she was so attached to him.

Soap was a different story. He usually recognized when someone was flirting with him, but with a pick-me girl like Molly, he was completely oblivious. He tried to be friendly but often ended up awkward or uncomfortable.

Price felt like he aged sixty more years with Molly around. She gave him a terrible headache, though he remained stern with her as he did with every new recruit.

A month after Molly joined the Taskforce, everybody was in the main hall, talking, eating, and drinking. The hall was filled with people beyond just TF141.

At the TF141 table, things were relatively calm until Molly appeared next to Ghost. "Hi guys! Missed me?" No one had, but they didn't say so. They still held out hope for her, lying to themselves that maybe she was just unused to communicating with people or that this was her way of getting along—though deep down they knew she just wanted them in her bed.

The boys remained oblivious to Molly's true intentions despite the other girls at the base rolling their eyes at their naivety.

Ghost closed his eyes beneath his balaclava and silently counted to ten, subtly moving away from Molly without greeting her—which wasn't unusual, as he rarely greeted anyone.

"Hey!" Soap greeted her first, trying to lighten the suddenly tense atmosphere he didn't enjoy.

Gaz just nodded at Molly and continued eating his baguette, appreciating being outside her attention.

Price stared at Molly for a long time with a look that screamed "not this girl again" before clearing his throat and nodding. "Good morning, Woods. You're up early." The team had started intentionally rising earlier to avoid exactly these meetings, but today it hadn't worked.

Molly giggled, twirled a strand of hair around her finger, and grinned. "Yes! I've decided to start training early today!" She looked at Ghost and fluttered her eyelashes dramatically. "We can start early, Ghostie~!" Ghost, who often ended up training with her, silently stared at her before lifting his balaclava just enough to take a long sip from his drink.

It was going to be a very long day.
