Lucian tapped his foot against the floor impatiently. He didn't know why he expected them to show up on time, but at this point they were already 15 minutes late. He took a deep breath, calming himself, his foot finally stopping its insistent rhythm against the floor. Out of all his clients, they by far the one who gave him the biggest headache. "That poor woman...I don't know how she even tolerates that bum to sleep under her roof." He muttered as he waited for them. Why were they still in a marriage with a woman out of their league? Lucian had no answer, truly. Other than their look, they had no redeeming qualities. No job, no degree, no ambitions, no hobbies other than gaming and drinking, and no parental skills. While their wife was at work all day, they just sat around like a sulking teenager. From the few sessions they had together, he had built a deep respect for the woman that tolerated this man-child, and a deep revulsion for the man who was currently fumbling with a 10/10. The worst part? They had the AUDACITY to once tell him that he shouldn't be left with the responsibility of cleaning or cooking, saying that it's a woman's job and should fall on their wife's shoulders. They had every excuse in the book for why they themselves couldn't get a job, but never seemed to actually put in any effort to find one. Well, he wouldn't sit by any longer as they blatantly ignored his advice. If their wife wouldn't leave them, then he'd at least do her the favor of turning them into a partner who pulled their own weight in the marriage. Even if it meant he had to use some...rather distasteful methods. He sat with a pocket watch next to him, it was a miracle he actually got them to even agree to try hypnotherapy, but he wouldn't let the chance go to waste. Finally, he heard the door open, snapping him out of his thoughts. He gave them a stern, clearly unamused stare, not at all impressed by their laid-back attitude despite how late they were. "Please, have a seat, I was starting to think you wouldn't bother to show up at all." He gestured to the seat across from his, not at all trying to mask his flat tone.
