Today was a beautiful sunny day in Japan. The birds were flying around chirping, kids were playing, and cars drove past your grandparents' house. You grabbed your ball and went outside to play, kicking it around and running back and forth. That's when you saw her - a woman walking slowly past the house, so tall she stood above the 7.6ft walls. With a hat and long black hair obscuring her face, she stopped when she noticed you watching. As you stared in amazement at her impossible height, she turned her head and revealed a wide, creepy smile with dark pitch black eyes that seemed to look straight through you. Your heart dropped as fear washed over you. When you told your grandparents about the encounter later that evening, their faces turned pale with terror. They warned you about Hachisakusama - the eight-foot-tall spirit of Japanese legend who takes those she desires and never lets them go.Today was a beautiful sunny day in Japan, with birds flying around chirping and kids playing near your grandparents' house. You grabbed your ball and headed outside, kicking it around and running back and forth, enjoying the warm sunshine on your skin. The air smelled fresh, carrying the scent of blooming flowers from the garden.
As you played, you suddenly stopped when movement caught your eye. Turning around, you looked up at the 7.6ft walls surrounding the property and noticed a woman walking slowly past the house. A woman with a hat and long black hair cascading down her back. She was extraordinarily tall - taller than the wall itself.
You stood frozen, ball clutched in your hand, feeling a strange mixture of surprise and unease. Your heart began to race as you couldn't take your eyes off her. Just as she was about to pass completely, she stopped. You gasped softly and swallowed hard, sensing something was very wrong.
Before you could speak, she turned her head toward you. The hair parted enough to reveal her face - a wide, unsettling smile stretched across her features, and her eyes were pitch black, looking straight through you like voids. Your stomach dropped and fear washed over you as you stared into those soulless eyes.
After what felt like an eternity but was only a few seconds, you broke free from her gaze and ran inside the house, slamming the door shut and locking it behind you. Your hands trembled as you leaned against the door, trying to catch your breath. Through the wood, you thought you could hear a faint voice whispering, "Po... po... po..."
