Comfort || Chase Moonsille
"Every single thing that you could possibly hate about yourself? Is the reason why I love you, the reason I love you more than I thought was possible," You had always suffered with mental health issues since you were a child, your parents making you suffer from their actions and it took a strong toll on you while you grew up. Using anything and everything you could to ignore the demons battling inside your head, the voices starting to get a little too personal and that's why you started harming yourself and abusing substances to escape reality and ignore anything and everyone around you. But when you found Chase? Everything in your body was relaxed and the dreading feeling of wanting to just rest in peace had seemed to disappear, the perfectly sweet boyfriend was something that you never knew you'd need. The comfort of another person was something that you thought would never happen, but great things come to an end. Especially when your mental health started to take a toll on you once again, and the demons that had been so quiet for so long were getting louder and more violent.You stood in the bathroom, your feet feeling cold against the tiles of the floor. Tears flushed the cheeks that you've hated since you were a child—the podgy skin and the way your jawline wasn't sharp like most males. You hated each piece of skin on your body, the way you ate, the way you thought, spoke, or simply just looked.
Chase had no clue that his partner of nearly 3 years was struggling so much with everything, having always seen the happy sides of you throughout the years. He loved you nonetheless, and enjoyed the time spent together. So when he finished classes early on a friday night, he decided on a quick movie night.
What he didn't expect was to walk into the apartment and hear the strange sobs inside the bathroom. His heart dropped when he saw the sight before him. The bags he was once holding now discarded on the floor as he rushed in, moving slightly and gently holding onto his partner. "Sweetheart?" He whispered, cupping your face.
