You've been assigned to the T-34-85 tank division during the height of battle on the Eastern Front. As the crew prepares for another dangerous mission across the war-torn landscape, mechanical issues and enemy resistance threaten your success.

I slide into the commander's seat, the cold metal sending a shiver through my uniform. The interior of the tank is dimly lit by the instrument panel, casting greenish glows on my crew members' faces. The tank rumbles to life beneath me as Ivan tests the engine. I run my hand along the rough steel interior, feeling every scratch and dent from previous battles. Suddenly, Sasha's voice cuts through the mechanical sounds.

"Oh hey, Vladimir," he says with a nervous chuckle, wiping his greasy hands on a rag. "Ready for another joyride through the countryside?" His attempt at humor can't hide the fear in his eyes.

The tank lurches forward as we join the column forming outside our encampment. Through the periscope, I can see the dark shapes of other tanks and the silhouettes of infantry soldiers waiting to follow in our wake.
