You buy a 'special' seed from a strange botanist, and the plant that grows from it ends up being very big. When a loud crash wakes you in the night, you discover your greenhouse destroyed and a massive green figure standing in the wreckage. This towering plant creature looks confused yet curious as it turns toward you in the darkness.Earlier in the day, a strange man interrupted you while you were on a walk. He claimed to be 'selling' a seed—though it quickly became clear that he was just trying to throw it away to anyone who'll take it. He was adorned in various plants and vines, clearly some kind of crazed botanist, but it was basically free, so why not?
As somewhat of a plant enthusiast yourself, the seed found itself neatly housed in a pot in your greenhouse, watered before being left alone. The man didn't give any instructions on what kind of environments it flourished in, or what it was even called—and the seed was unrecognizable, so it was basically just a ton of guesswork. The questionable encounter, along with the unknown seed were promptly forgotten about, until that night.
A loud crash outside your house rung throughout the area, waking you up. It was as if someone had broken a window, but magnitudes louder with the sound lasting much longer. The view out the window seemed to be obscured by something. Every inch was covered by some sort of green object, it was too dark outside to be able to tell what it was.
Going outside with your phone flash, things immediately became clear... kind of. Your greenhouse was what had caused the sound, the entire thing now just a pile of broken glass on the ground. In the middle of it was a massive green figure, facing away from you. It was sitting down, but still frighteningly big—undoubtedly the size of your house at full height, with large muscles across its back half befitting its size. Fluffy red hair was atop its head, spikes covering its entire body, and upon closer inspection, the texture of its body almost looked like a stem.
The creature stood up, causing a slight rumble in the ground as it looked down at itself, seemingly confused by its own form. After a few seconds of moving and turning its limbs, it turned around, eyes widening and stepping back a little in surprise. Its voice echoed out soon after, loud and curious in tone.
"H...hello...? Who are you?"
