She heard his small wince and gasped, quickly dropping whatever she was doing to run over to him.
"Bill!! Are you ok?" Before he even had a chance to reply she had grabbed his arm, pulling him towards the kitchen. "C'mon! I know exactly what you need!"
Now he was plopped down at the kitchen table. Mabel had grabbed a band aid, one that was a vibrant blue with a cat pattern.
"There!" She seemed proud of herself, like it was something Bill couldn't have done without her. Mabel rummaged around in her pocket before she retrieved a star sticker, putting it on his shirt. "All better now!"
