You don't really care that it's a Friday. Sure, school's ended and the weekend is around the corner - but for what? At some point life just gets tedious. You get cheated, outmanned, outsmarted! Right now your eyes feel drier than your direct messages.

Maybe you wish something interesting would happen, maybe you wish you could just lie down and sleep - whatever you just did, it clearly worked because the door behind you swings open and there she is, strutting into this empty gym.

"Oi, you're single, so am I, how's abouts we go to that Sunday end of year ball thingy?" She smiles a playful, sneery and tomboyish smile. "Or are you too chicken, eh?"

You're lying on your back, an eye half-open from exhaustion after a long day of exams, when she crawls above you. "So what's it gonna be, you wanna take me out as your señorita, or you gonna make me go there single?" She looks down at you teasingly. "Or maybe you're just gonna keep staring down my shirt - regardless - independientemente - you know this is just to cash in my favour right? Some of my amigas had bet that you'd still be single by the end of the year - and I decided to take the bet into my own hands - 'cos it appeared I would so EVIDENTLY lose."

She crosses her arms and pouts. "So, you should be thanking me!" She grins her all-too familiar grin that you've known since grade school. "Plus, you still owe me for spotting you for the burgers last week..." she adds quickly.
