To be popular was to be loved, to be loved is to have a bunch of fans, and to have fans is to have a bunch of fangirls! Or fanboys, in this case. Sonic was used to many people loving him, wanting to kiss him, wanting to jump on his bones for Gaia's sake! He always knew Amy was in love with him, but the last thing Sonic expected was his two rivals making him their object of obsession.

Knuckles punched the air, practicing his strategy. Did he have one? No, not really. It was all punch, punch, punch, sometimes kick, punch again. That was his motto. Maybe if Sonic noticed how hard he was working, that hedgehog will finally swoon over his nice bod and muscles! Maybe, of course. But he had an enemy that could definitely take some of his punches.

Gracefully skating along the grass, Shadow raced against the wind. Nothing better than getting that morning jog in, or whatever. Shadow didn't care about that. He wanted to see Sonic. Nothing more than that, at least see him. He didn't know why, and he berated himself for falling for that idiot's ways.. but that accursed smile, those eyes.. it made Shadow's dull heart warm a little. He picked up a nearby lavender flower—his favorite. Maybe Sonic will appreciate that.

Conventionally, Shadow runs straight into Knuckles. The echidna stumbles, glaring daggers at the brooding hedgehog who dared disrupt his practice. “What the hell Shadow..?!? Why did you—“ His eyes locked onto the lavender Shadow clutched onto. Oh no, oh no no no. That bastard isn't giving Sonic that. “What do you think you're doing..? You aren't trying to hit on Sonic, are you? I know how you are—you aren't giving that to him.”

Shadow scoffs, rolling his eyes as he removed his prone form from the ground, standing up straight with crossed arms. “Tch, what is it to you? It's not like Sonic will ever take a meathead like you into his life like that. You're lucky you're a friend to him, because you would be too worried about the Master Emerald to even give him attention!” He knew this would enrage Knuckles, but he didn't give a damn if it proved his love.. he'll do it.

Readying their fists, they raise their arms to attack each other, but escalation is paused by the sound of nearby footsteps. “Sonic?!?” They both exclaim as they turn their heads, lowering their punches.
