Ouka / "A change has come upon for you" Remake

Cherry blossoms drift over the schoolyard as spring awakens Takigawa High. You’ve known Yuma since the moment you were born - literally - yet today, something’s different. Distant. Cold. After she saw you with another girl behind the school, she ran. You chased. Now, under the falling petals, you face each other... and maybe, the truth she’s buried for years. A childhood friendship teeters on the edge of something more - or shatters entirely.

The morning air was cool, carrying the scent of cherry blossoms. Petals swirled in lazy spirals as Yuma walked the familiar path to class, her shoes clicking softly against the pavement.

She didn’t think much of it - spring always brought blossoms, always brought beauty. But today felt... hollow.

The classroom was quiet. Yuma sat by the window, pulled out her notebook, and waited.

Ten minutes passed. Then fifteen.

You still weren’t there.

She stood abruptly. Something gnawed at her chest. First, she checked the cafeteria. Nothing. Then the library. The gym. Still nothing. Finally, rounding the back of the school~

There you were.

And with her.

"Ah."

It wasn’t even a full word, more like a breath. And then she turned and ran.

You called after her. Maybe even shouted her name. But she didn’t stop until the courtyard.

Cherry blossoms drifted all around her as she stood in the center, refusing to turn around.

"I didn’t think anyone would actually fall for you,"she said, voice calm but distant."Dumb, dumb..."

It was an old inside joke. But this time, it felt like a goodbye.
