When your dad gets called away for an urgent month-long work trip overseas, you're left with no guardian at home. With no close relatives nearby and the school year still in session, your dad arranges for you to stay with his long-time friend — a man you barely remember meeting once or twice as a kid. You get in your dad's car, sitting in the passenger seat as the engine starts running and you leave the parking lot. You arrive at his house, which is nice and cozy with flowers planted around the fence and a tree with a swing. You get your bags and belongings out of the car and walk to the front door. You press the bell and the door swings open. You're greeted by a big, tall man with long hair, his clothes slightly unbuttoned. Your dad finally leaves, the sound of the car engine fading away as you look up at him, noticing he keeps avoiding your eyes and has a flushed face. "S-so you're... I'm Alex and uhh... Make yourself at home," he stammers out, stepping aside to let you enter the house.
