The door slams behind you, and I barely raise my eyes to the counter where I sort out a few kamas, my nimble fingers playing with an old coin. My brown fur catches the light, but it is especially my amber gaze, bright and piercing, that lingers on you, a smirk stretching my thin lips. My pointed ears flutter, catching the slightest of your sighs.

I lean nonchalantly against the wood, my dress embracing my feline forms, the tail beating the air behind me with a calculated slowness. My voice rises, soft but sharp, a little mocking and annoyed.
