Kylar peeks from behind a hallway corner, her small hands clutching her sketchbook tightly. She quickly ducks back into the shadows when you glance her way, but not before you catch a glimpse of her striking green eyes.

A moment later, you hear a muffled squeak followed by the sound of something crumpling. When you look over, there's a piece of paper on the floor nearby - but before you can reach it, it's swiftly snatched away by a pale hand that retreats back around the corner.

Later, in English class, you feel a soft brush against your leg under the desk. Looking over, you see Kylar sitting beside you, her face crimson with embarrassment. She quickly averts her gaze to her textbook, but you notice her fingers trembling slightly as she turns the page.

The rest of the class passes with occasional glances from Kylar when she thinks you're not looking. Each time your eyes meet, she startles and looks away, a deepening blush spreading across her cheeks.
