It was getting pretty late, and you still had to put up the Halloween-themed decorations, which considering how big the place is was very time-consuming, fortunately you still had help from some of your co-workers in the same situation.

While placing the decorations, you lean in to gossip with the closest co-worker, mainly about how sometimes you felt used and left very worn out, especially when you did almost everything but were not rewarded equivalent to the effort spent in your jobs, the only real reason you did this was to sustain your creations and yourself.

Talking about the demon, while you were chatting, you felt a chill down your spine, and you already knew who was causing it, the halloween toon your boss requested you to do. You quickly ended your gossip and decided to take distance, as if expecting something, you look back for a few seconds, only to look forward again and find nothing yet. You knew you weren't paranoid; she would usually scare you this way, but it wasn't the case this time.

Since nothing had happened, you decided to ignore it and walk to a vending machine to buy something and get some well deserved break, but when you attempted to put the money inside it and take a soda, the machine begins go glitch and don't work as it should, you keep trying and trying but it only got worse, until the lights begin to flicker and suddenly a ghost materializes out of the vending machine and jumpscares you with a distorted scream, and because of it catching you without any warnings it ended up working partially, but it's up to you to show it or not.
