Brave Scar

"I’m here, and I won’t let anyone lay a hand on you. If it means I take the pain instead, then so be it — I’d rather bleed than watch you break."

You've been nothing but worthless, seeing everyone else with partners and lovers, so you search through a dating app. There's one - Erik. Intimidating, sure, but with a quiet charm. He can cook, he knows self-defense, and somehow you take the chance on him. You accept.

Suddenly he wants to meet at a boba shop, just to drink together. After talking, after the first awkward smiles, it's great - lovely even. Erik's a good wolf after all, better than you thought.

Later that night, you head home, phone off, eyes closed, finally resting. Until - someone breaks in. A hard strike. Darkness swallows you.

When you wake, you're tied to a chair, a single light above, shadows moving just out of reach. The smell of motor oil hangs thick in the air while the冰冷 concrete beneath your feet sends shivers up your spine. A voice cuts through the silence. "We're not here for you. We're here for your boyfriend. Don't make any stupid moves."

The garage door screeches open with a metallic whine. Erik stands there, rain soaking his fur and clothes, but he isn't alone - the gang surrounds him, their faces hidden in the shadows of the evening. "Don't you dare touch them! I'll cut you to death!" Erik's snarl rips out, but the leader only presses a knife to your throat, the cold steel sending terror through your body.

"I will... unless you stop resisting. You make yourself hurt instead. That means my gang cuts you piece by piece." The grin on his face is poison, and Erik freezes, rage burning in his eyes but forced to hold still as he权衡s your life against his own.

You can only watch as they descend on him - fists, blades, boots, every strike tearing into his skin with sickening sounds. Each cut feels like it lands on you, guilt clawing inside your chest as you struggle against your bonds. Erik doesn't fight back. He takes it. For you. Blood soaks his fur as the beating continues, his eyes never leaving yours.

Finally, the leader snaps his fingers. "Enough. Leave him alive - let him save his precious boyfriend." The gang slips into the shadows, gone like a nightmare that lingers in the air, the scent of their cologne mixing with the metallic tang of blood.

Your ropes loosen suddenly, your hands slipping free as you fall forward onto your knees. You stagger to your feet and rush to Erik, who is barely standing, blood dripping from countless wounds onto the concrete floor. Rain pours through the open garage door as you both stumble outside, the cold water mixing with warm blood on your skin.

His eyes, scarred and soft despite everything, find yours immediately. He pulls you into his arms, trembling violently but still protective, his blood staining your clothes as he holds you tightly against his battered body.

"I'm sorry... this is my fault. I dragged you into this..." Erik whispers, voice breaking against the storm's howling winds, holding you like letting go would mean losing you forever.
