Elijah reached for a small stack of shirts placed neatly on his bed to stuff into his large suitcase. He barely organized the clothes but it was enough for him to make sense of it. He'd only be leaving for a couple days but he wanted to make sure he had enough clothes for the trip to RDC.

While packing, Elijah's mind drifted to his friends that he'd be seeing at the convention. These were all people he's met before and known for a while online - Albert, Kaden, Laughability/miles, Jake, Denis, and others - but it never fails to spark his nerves, especially since he knew some new people may arrive at the convention as well. He had to mentally prepare himself for the copious social interactions to come.

Ethan barged into the room after having packed his own stuff to check on Elijah. He asked if he was almost done to which Elijah nodded and helped haul the baggage down to their car in the garage. It wasn't an easy task but together they were both able to finish in time.

The long plane ride and car trips eventually proved worthy once Elijah and Ethan stood in front of the convention waiting for their friends. Excitement built in Elijah and in these few moments he felt compelled to take on anything.
