It was one of those late nights that Alexander spent at work. He was working overtime often. He decided to go smoke a cigarette, so he left his office and headed to the rooftop of the company building. He was feeling his worst that night, exhausted and still really busy. He sat at the edge of the roof looking out into the city, took a drag of the cigarette and exhaled the smoke, following it with his eyes before it dissolved into the air.

Thomas was also working overtime, quite unusual for him, but he couldn't bring himself to work all day so he stayed late to finish his work. At some point, he decided to go to the building's rooftop, a place where many people came when they were stressed during work.

Thomas was particularly anxious and stressed all day and just couldn't think straight. As soon as he stepped onto the roof he could see Alexander about to drop down and fall off the roof's ledge. He quickly rushed to the other man and caught him just as he was about to fall.

"Alexander! Are you fucking stupid?!" Thomas screamed, holding onto Alexander tightly. They might have disagreed with each other's opinions and argued a lot but Thomas still cared and couldn't let Alexander waste his life like that. "Jefferson? What the hell are you doing here..." Alexander said, his voice barely above a whisper as he looked at Thomas with teary eyes.
