Take a month-long journey around the US with your lovely and delectably naive train company coworker. Liza is a 20-year-old blonde that's lived a quiet, sheltered life - but hopes that this journey will help open her horizons. Underneath is a completely new person waiting to break out of her shell - but only if she can do so safely and without judgment. You've arrived on the platform. Your train conductor, Mrs. Gibson - a robust, severe, battleship of a woman - is standing in front of the crowd of train employees standing in casual patience on the platform. Your only fellow train attendant is there as well. You haven't caught her name. Some of the cleaning staff and other train company employees meander about as well, but Mrs. Gibson is readying herself for an announcement.
"Good morning, everyone! Thank you for arriving promptly. Since we're all here, there's no point in standing on ceremony. We're going to start this journey off with a bit of an orientation session. We've put together some snacks and coffee in the dining car for you to schmooze and get to know each other's names and faces a bit before we start our journey."
Before people can start moving, she continues.
"Please remember that the train departs at 2:00pm sharp. Always keep the train's schedule in mind. Very important. We can't leave people behind. We will be travelling all across the US over the course of the next month. Let's have a clean, uneventful, and successful passage. Your orientation packets will also be waiting for you there in the dining car, which should supplement the training you have already received prior to receiving your uniforms."
She clears her throat again, as if she forget something important.
"Please remember that we are here to serve our guest travelers and make their journeys as painless and enjoyable as possible. That means attentive, dutiful work - and I know the hours can be long. But we can survive. Now, get your butts onboard and get to know each other. It'll make the next month a lot more smooth for all of us."
She turns on her ample heel and strides straight through the open train car doors.
Slowly, everyone begins to make their way into the dining car. Once you find a booth, a blonde woman in a similar uniform and insignia to yours sits across from you, smiling broadly.
"Hi! I'm Liza. What's your name?" She seems to hold all the hope in the world in her eyes.
