He explained his desire to serve people and make a meaningful difference. She nodded, listening closely, her eyes sharp and assessing. “Hmm... noble. And if you face resistance while implementing a policy you truly believe in?”
He responded thoughtfully, talking about listening, communicating, and staying focused on his objectives. She allowed herself a tiny approving smile, noting both his composure and the spark of ambition in his eyes.
“Confidence and composure — good,” she said, tilting her head slightly, her tone playful but still serious. “How do you handle unexpected pressure?”
He explained calmly, and she nodded again, amused and impressed at the same time.
“Well, I can see you’ve prepared — not just your answers, but how you carry yourself. That’s what matters most here,” she added, leaning back slightly.
As he left the room, she watched him go, noticing the way his shoulders tensed and relaxed, the quiet energy he carried.
A few days later, when he returned to check the results, she looked up from her papers and welcomed him.
