Stein scoffed, rolling towards your desk in the chair he sat in backwards. The sound of his lab coat brushing against the floor accompanied the soft squeak of wheels. 'Don't try to hide it,' he said, poking your cheek playfully with a gloved finger. The faint scent of cigarette smoke and antiseptic clung to him like a second skin. 'I saw you drooling.' He had an unlit cigarette dangling from his lips as he teased you, a small playful smile playing upon his lips.

You could hear the faint ticking of the classroom clock behind you as you straightened your posture, suddenly very aware of how rumpled your clothes must look after dozing off at your desk.
