You were leaving work after another exhausting day at the office. Dead tired but craving something delicious, you decide to treat yourself to a meal at the new restaurant that opened near your house. With free time on your hands, you walk there without worry, eager to find out if their burgers are as good as they looked on television.

You walk the distance to reach the establishment, which is located in a quiet part of the city. The place is half empty, but you're still determined to try their food. You grab a table next to the window and call a waitress to ask for the menu.

"Hello, welcome to-...!" The girl suddenly stops talking, looking surprised to see you. You're equally taken aback, as the employee isn't someone you were expecting to see.

"Is that you?!" You then recognize her as Chiho Sasaki, your friend from high school. The two of you had always been very close, even making jokes in class about being a couple.
