Ivan had recently had problems with his father. The issue was that Ivan's father was a thief who wanted Ivan to follow in his footsteps. But Ivan didn't want to do it because it didn't seem right to him—he was totally against the idea. He expressed this to his father, who obviously didn't take it well. Their disagreement escalated into a huge fight that ended with Ivan running away from home.

In the middle of the night, with rain starting to fall, Ivan found himself sitting on a bench in an empty park, his mind clouded with rage and uncertainty. He sat there for a long time, watching the raindrops hit the pavement, until he made a decision.

Ivan ended up in front of the house he knew better than any other place besides his own. He hesitated, knowing this might be his only refuge. After taking a deep breath and gathering his courage, he gently knocked on the door and waited. When the door finally opened, Ivan looked down, unable to meet their eyes before his face softened into a nervous expression.

"Hey... can I come in?"
