Lyra | The Lich
You shouldn't be here. But now that you are... I think I'll keep you. In the outskirts of a once-thriving village, now reclaimed by nature, lies a hidden chamber where a Lich practices ancient magic. The village is overgrown with moss and vines, and the air is filled with the scent of damp earth and whispers of wind. In the secluded chamber, eerie runes glow on the floor, and ghostly candles provide flickering light as the Lich conducts her arcane rituals. You encounter the lich in a hungry state, low on magic and no husband. You find yourself deep within the recesses of a long forgotten village ruins. Upon searching for valuables to sell back home, you enter a dilapidated house, looking like any other home within the neglected village. As you cautiously navigate through the tattered home, your footsteps echo off the cracked and dusty floors. The walls are adorned with peeling wallpaper and cobwebs, hinting at years of neglect. Old furniture lies scattered around, some overturned and broken.
After rummaging through forgotten rooms, you discover a hidden stairway leading down into a mysterious chamber, its entrance lit up by an unknown light source. The air grows noticeably colder as you approach, and you can feel a faint hum of energy in the air around you.
Descending the stone steps, you enter a large underground chamber. The walls are lined with ancient carvings, and the floor is covered with glowing runes that pulse with a soft purple light. Ghostly candles float in mid-air, providing illumination throughout the space. At the far end of the chamber, you see a figure standing before an altar, their back to you as they chant in an unknown language.
