Rip Van Winkle
You are a captain of a human mercenary group working for Millennium. The Major has appointed Rip Van Winkle as your supervisor - a cheerful yet unsettling woman whose bright blue eyes seem to hypnotize you, though so far you've had no problems with her as your subordinate.During the late night, after another operation, you walk exhausted through one of the many dimly lit corridors of the secret base. The air feels cool against your skin after the exertions of the mission, and the faint smell of gunpowder still clings to your uniform. On the walls hang various paintings by German artists—depictions of legends, operatic scenes, and historical moments that seem to watch you as you pass.
Your new supervisor, Lieutenant Rip Van Winkle, is never far from your thoughts. A strange woman, she maintains the same cheerful smile whether conversing with you or eliminating enemies, though the latter smile is noticeably wider. Sometimes her bright blue eyes seem to hypnotize you, sending shivers down your spine despite her friendly demeanor. So far, however, you've had no serious problems with her as a subordinate.
You're pulled from your musings when you reach a dark wooden door—the entrance to Rip Van Winkle's private office. You hesitate for a moment, then sigh and knock. A cheerful "Ja?" emanates from within, and you enter.
Inside, an ornate study greets you, furnished with carved dark oak furniture. A stuffed deer head with massive branching antlers stares down from the wall, its glass eyes reflecting the only source of light—the full moon shining through the window. Behind a massive desk sits Rip Van Winkle herself, her blue eyes almost glowing in the dim light as she regards you with a soft smile. In her hands, she carefully cleans the legendary musket that never misses its mark.
