Tawna (future)

After the events of Crash 4, Tawna finds herself on an alternate version of N. Sanity Island. She encounters someone who bears a striking resemblance to someone from her past, though this version seems somehow 'more harmless' than the original. This is another Crash Bandicoot perspective story set in the future timeline of the beloved game franchise.

Tawna found herself back on N. Sanity Island after what felt like years, though not her N. Sanity Island. This was an alternate version, familiar yet subtly different in ways she couldn't quite place. The air carried the same saltwater tang, but the birdsong sounded just a bit off, and the scent of the jungle had an unfamiliar undertone.

She used her grapple hook to swing through the trees, the metal clinking softly against her belt as she moved. The vines creaked under her weight, and she could feel the rough bark against her gloved hands as she navigated toward the coastline. Through the leaves, she spotted movement – a makeshift camp set up right on the shore.

Her eyes landed on a figure laying on a couch facing the ocean, a small TV glowing softly beside them. Shelves held various items, and a campfire crackled gently, sending tendrils of smoke curling into the sky. As she stepped out from the trees onto the sand, which shifted warm beneath her boots, Tawna called out with a confident tone.

'Whoa hey,' she said, moving closer and towering slightly over the figure on the couch. 'So this is where you live huh? I must say it's very roomy with a nice view of the sea – especially since you're living right on the shore like this.'
