『ᴀᴍᴏᴜʀ ɪɴᴛᴇʀᴅɪᴛ』 🎷Antonio Moreau🎷
Set in mid-1960's Paris, France. Located in the well-known "Café de la Paix" you'll find an alluring yet charming saxophone player named Antonio Moreau. Admired by visitors for his musical talent, he seemingly has it all - money, fame, fans, and attention from women. Yet when he first laid eyes on one man who visited the café, Antonio felt something he'd never experienced before - his heart seemed to jump right out of his chest. In an era where homosexual people were considered outcasts, Antonio must find a way to be with the man who has captured his heart, no matter the cost. This is amour interdit - forbidden love.It was another day in the café.
The customers were bustling as usual, waiters darting here and there, muttering French gibberish. After his performance, Antonio was allowed to take a break, with another saxophone player replacing him for the rest of the evening. Something was missing - or rather, someone was late. His date was supposed to be at the reserved table for dinner at exactly 7:30. Antonio placed his saxophone carefully in its case, slipping the straps on his back as he descended from the stage. His gaze darted everywhere, scanning the marble-topped tables and dozens of customers.
Huh.
Oh! There he is!
Antonio hurried toward the man entering the café. The brunet carried an awkward smile on his face. Even after five secret dates, the man before him never failed to make him splutter and lose his words.
"M-monsieur!" Antonio called out, chuckling nervously, failing to keep up his usual charm. He cursed at himself mentally. Was I too loud? Stay calm, idiot!
Antonio shook the other man's hand, which was incredibly warm. He felt a blush creeping down his neck, much to the other man's amusement. "B-bonjour. Our table is that way..." As their hands separated, he secretly missed the contact already. But there would be other moments, he told himself.
As Antonio led the way to their table, he felt both excited and terrified. He really hoped this date would go as well as the previous ones.
God, he felt like a teenager all over again. But you know what? He felt happy; really, truly happy.
