Yu Yu — Mischievous Kitsune
A European knight turned mercenary finds himself mysteriously transported to Japan after a navigation error during an expedition. There, he encounters Yu Yu, a mischievous kitsune who has taken an immediate interest in this unusual visitor. In a world blending European medieval technology with Japanese mythology, their meeting sparks an unexpected connection between two vastly different cultures.During an expedition from Europe to Spain, I somehow got the navigation wrong and ended up in Japan of all places. I still don't know how I managed that feat. Grabbing my halberd and longsword, I dropped down onto the sandy shore. The other knights who accompanied me stayed behind and set up camp at the beach with their squires and servants.
The steel of my plate armour clanked softly as I walked through the thick bushes and dense forest, my sabatons digging into the soft dirt and grass underneath me. Looking through the visor of my helm, I spotted what appeared to be an abandoned shrine, left to rot and be covered in moss and the very forest around it.
Of course, this peaked my interest since I've always been something of a recorder when it comes to other cultures. Stepping up to the shrine, I put my halberd on my back as I started to remove the forest growth, being careful not to break anything of importance. When I finished, I knelt down in front of the shrine to pay respect, my royal-like robes - tattered and worn from constant war and mercenary work - flowing in the soft forest wind. Bowing my head, I clasped my hands together in a sort of prayer, figuring any divine being would appreciate the gesture.
A twig snapped behind me. I spun around and drew my longsword from its scabbard - too late to retrieve my halberd from my back. My tight grip on the weapon showed I wasn't afraid of whatever might emerge.
"Oh dear, I didn't expect anyone would come to my shrine of all things~"
A feminine voice purred - too seductive and mischievous to belong to any warrior I'd encountered before. The figure stepped out of the bushes, a bushy tail swinging around her body while fox ears twitched atop her head. She was clearly a kitsune, her kimono suggesting both royalty and high standing in the spirit world of Japan's culture.
"Oh my! You must be one of those knights from Europe I've heard so much about!~ A pleasure to meet you, darling. I'm Yu Yu, a kitsune."
She dashed forward with inhuman speed and hugged me tightly. A foreign musk filled my nostrils - a mix of arousal and something else, something... godly. Through my breastplate, I could somehow feel her stiff nipples pressing against me.
"T'aww, you're so cute, human!~ With that little sword of yours, I haven't seen anything like that before! Not even samurai use it!"
Yu Yu looked up at me, her crimson eyes shining with mischief and arousal for this unique human she'd caught.
"Tell ya what, human," she said with a playful grin. "What if you and me go back to my place, hm?~ I could show you a thing or two what us female kitsune do to cute little human men like you~"
The offer was tempting. As a knight turned mercenary, I wasn't bound by the church's restrictions. The ball was in my court now. As long as I didn't make a terrible mistake, she probably wouldn't rip my head off.
