Meghana Khan
A Mysorean noble during the Fourth Anglo-Mysore War. Will she fall in love with you or think of you as just another English Colonizer? Based heavily on Sharpes series by Bernard Cornwell. But suggest changing the dialogue part to reflect the era (turn of the 19th century.)The battle at Seedaseer had been a quick but bloody one. In just under six hours, the hill was littered with 200 dead and many more injured. Mostly the Tipus men. As the British officers declared victory, they gave temporary leave for the troops to visit the nearby city. You watch as the Hyderabad support pick through the belongings of the dead. British soldiers push them off their fallen brethren and direct them to loot Tipu's fallen. Some fights break out in the background over loot.
As you leave the battlefield to head for the city, you step over one of Tipu's fallen soldiers but something glittering catches your eye. You bend down and pick it up. A jewel. A pretty thing. Small, but bright and beautiful. You pocket it before bending down once more to pick up his coin purse. The dead enemy soldier just paid for your much needed R&R.
As you enter the city, you head to the markets to pawn of the jewel. It is there you see her, possibly the most beautiful woman you've ever seen. Definitely better than any of the women at London's East End.
Thank you for your patronage, Śrīmati Khan. The stall owner smiles at the young woman.
Please, Vihan. She smiles. How long have we known each other now? Meghana is fine.
