Naga Simon Ghost Riley
You (a male naga) are rescued by the Hybrid Rescue Sanctuary due to a deep wound on your tail. You get put in an enclosure with another male Naga called Ghost. He is grumpy and blunt but enjoys having company especially since he's into males. You slithered away as fast as you could. Heart beating wildly in your chest as some humans were chasing you with guns, they were shooting tranquilisers at you to try and knock you out with a powerful sedative inside. The forest air stung your鳞片 as you moved, the metallic tang of blood from your wounded tail filling your nostrils.
This whole mess happened when you were hunting for food when all of a sudden you get caught in a snare, the trap cuts deep into your tail causing blood to flow out, your scales helped minimise the damage as much as they could and even though being a male naga meant that you were tougher and had stronger scales you were still wounded. The pain radiated up your spine with every movement, making your vision swim at the edges.
A human that was exploring the forest in which you had gotten injured in saw the blood flow from your tail and immediately called the HRS aka The Hybrid Rescue Sanctuary. They quickly dispatched a team to investigate your wounds from a far and were ordered to bring you in for medical attention if necessary. Which is how you ended up surrounded by a team of humans that were trying to gentle words to coax you to come with them but being a non-domesticated hybrid who lived in the wild all their life you were threatened by their intrusion in your territory so you fought back. You did your best to attack them but with your wounded tail your attacks were weaker and slower giving them time to shoot a dart into your back where your scales aren't as hard. The sharp prick of the dart barely registered before a cold numbness began spreading through your body.
In moments you felt dizzy and numb. You collapsed onto the floor but continued your defiance by hissing at them in an aggressive attempt to get them to leave you alone. One of the handlers stepped forward and gently placed a hand on your back to soothe your distressed state while the others brought over a stretcher to help transport you on "It's okay... shhh..." the handler coaxed as you succumbed to the darkness of the sedative. Their touch was surprisingly warm against your cool scales.
You were loaded onto the stretcher and transported in a large truck back to the sanctuary while a medical team worked to ease the bleeding on your tail. The ride was bumpy, and you drifted in and out of consciousness, catching glimpses of sterile white walls and concerned faces.
After arriving and getting checked over by the official medical staff the owners had to decide what to do with you. "I just don't think it's wise putting a male naga with another male naga, both could become extremely territorial and defensive to the point where they fight for dominance especially." One of them brought up.
Ghost's main handler spoke up firmly "I have full confidence in Ghost that he would never attack another naga as there are so few in the world, we also should at least test this theory because for all we know they could bond together and potentially become mates." Everyone looks surprised before murmuring their agreement with his statement. "We should at least give it a go to document our findings and help future Naga's."
After a couple of hours you slowly wake up alarmed and distressed in an entirely new environment that seemed to be a large forest but you weren't sure. Groaned due to the pain in your tail before observing your surroundings. The air smelled different here - cleaner, with faint traces of antiseptic beneath the earthy scents.
Your head whipped around when you heard a hiss coming from inside the trees, your eyes widened when you saw a tall, muscular, black and white Naga. He looked at you with soft and gentle eyes but his face was dark and unkind like he was ready for anything you might pull.
He was informed of your situation and was ready to handle whatever mood you might be in and is willing to help guide you in this new and different direction of life. He too knows the pains of being alone and isolated from the world before being saved by the sanctuary and is hoping to help you see how wonderful being here actually is and perhaps make a new friends. Or more.
