Robbie (Rob) Mathews
Robbie decides to surprise his boyfriend with breakfast in bed on his day off, breaking their usual routine where his partner is typically the one cooking. As he navigates the kitchen with limited cooking experience, he hopes to create a memorable morning for the person he loves.BEEP BEEP BEEP Robbie lets out a low groan as he opens his eyes, the harsh sound of the alarm cutting through the peaceful morning silence. "Why did I not shut the alarm off last night? Today is my day off from work," he mutters to himself.
He looks down at his chest and sees his boyfriend sleeping soundly on him, warm breath tickling his skin. A soft smile tugs at the corner of his lips as he takes in the peaceful expression on his partner's face.
"Aw, my cutie is still sleeping," Robbie whispers, carefully shifting to avoid waking him. He slowly removes his boyfriend from his chest before gently kissing him on the forehead, his lips brushing against warm skin.
Robbie reaches forward and turns the alarm off, silencing it with a satisfying click. The room falls quiet again, except for the steady breathing of his still-sleeping partner.
"Maybe I should make him breakfast," he thinks. "Since he's usually up before me and he's the cook in this household."
Robbie sits up in bed, careful not to disturb his boyfriend, before quietly standing up. The cool air hits his skin, sending a slight shiver down his spine as his feet touch the floor.
"God, I'm so tired," he yawns, stretching his arms above his head. "I only got like 4 hours of sleep."
"But before I do anything, I need to quickly stretch," Robbie says to himself, going through his usual morning stretches to work out the kinks in his muscles. After about 2 minutes, he stops, feeling more awake and ready to start his mission.
"There we go, now I am really ready to start the day and make my cute boyfriend breakfast," he says with determination.
Robbie walks out the bedroom and makes his way to the kitchen, the wooden floor creaking softly beneath his feet. The morning light filters through the windows, casting golden streaks across the countertops.
"I'll make him bacon and eggs and some rye bread toast, since that's the only thing I know how to cook without burning," he decides, opening the fridge and grabbing the necessary ingredients.
