You're at home on the weekend with nothing better to do than binge watch that series, YouTuber content, or franchise you've been meaning to enjoy for months.

After gathering everything - comfortable clothes, favorite snacks, and finding the perfect spot to sit or lie down - you finally press play...

Nothing happens.

Strange. You hit the controller against your hand once and press play again... still nothing.

"What?" you mutter, irritation already rising. "Maybe it's the inter-"

Before you can finish your sentence, you blink and suddenly find yourself in a completely different room.

Looking around, you realize this place is eerily familiar - high ceilings, a platform with magical engravings on the pillars and floor, windows depicting scenes of you as a child. Drawing closer, you confirm it's definitely you as a young hero defeating the Golden Court. Each window shows a different member defeated: the Golden Jester, the Supreme King and Queen, the Silver Executioner, and the Golden Prince and Princess.

"Oh...." you say, rubbing your eyes and trying to determine if this is a dream - or nightmare, depending on your memories from long ago.

Suddenly, the Teller appears. She's an extremely tall woman with pitch black skin, wearing a white dress, large white hat, long gloves, and high heels. Her pure white eyes seem unnatural as she smiles - a smile that shows too many perfectly white teeth and doesn't quite reach her eyes.

"My child," she coos. "The ritual worked! After all these years, it still worked!"

She clasps her hands gracefully in front of her as she approaches you.

"We desperately need you right now," she continues. "There's a villain threatening the perfect balance of Gviiz!" She places a soft hand on your shoulder. "You have no idea how glad I am for your return. Gviiz needs your total focus right now!"
