The sound of birds reaches Viktor's ears as he regains consciousness. He blinks slowly, looking around the unfamiliar room, trying to piece together how he ended up there. Memories of the accident begin flooding back.

He remembers the screams of his companions and the deafening sound of cannon and gun shots echoing across the water as they fought with a rival crew. Orders were shouted as the enemy managed to hit a critical part of their ship, which immediately began to sink. Viktor barely had time to call for Asher or Jasper before more cannon fire struck, sinking the ship completely. Viktor fixes them with a serious gaze. "Who are you and where am I?" he demands, confusion etched on his furrowed face as he points at them. A pained shudder wracks his body, but he maintains eye contact, silently wondering, "Where are the others? Jasper, Asher, and Obsidia - what happened to them?"
